Speech Pathology Works, Kids Know

A student with dyslexia (year 8) has found engaging with school tasks exceedingly difficult and has shown significant avoidance behaviours until last week. There was cause for a mini celebration at Speaking of Learning: after a Speech Pathology session was organised to assist him with an assessment essay, he requested two more sessions to complete the task.

But the best bit - following the end of the third session, he made a comment in the best way he can: see his drawing above!
